• What is Down Ballot?

  In politics, "down ballot" refers to all of the candidates on a ballot. Using a play on words and a dog mascot, "Down, Ballot!" is a place to understand the basics on the political process in Texas and learn about the candidates in the upcoming 2012 election. Ballot the purple dog is non-partisan and hopes to give Benji and Toto a run for their money.
